Central Oregon Home Health and Hospice is a non-profit, Medicare Certified agency dedicated to providing the residents of Central Oregon with an exceptional choice of care at home. Whether it's our physical therapists helping an individual fully recover from a surgery, or providing bereavement support when a loved one dies, our fundamental belief is that healthcare is about relationships and trust. The resulting benefits of this belief are truly excellent care for those we serve and our agency becoming the regions "Agency of Choice."

Why have two such uniquely different care systems together?

Throughout the United States, Medicare certified skilled home health and hospice agencies are typically owned and managed independently of one another. These two unique types of health care providers have uniquely different goals and approaches for the patients and families they serve. For those who choose to offer the two approaches within one organizational structure, it creates complex challenges. The benefits, however, can far outweigh the extra effort required by agency staff.

The most noteworthy benefit occurs when an individual receiving care becomes so well acquainted with his or her caregivers they develop a trust and bond. Should their health condition change and they would be better served accessing the other care system, they can choose to retain their same familiar caregivers from Central Oregon Home Health and Hospice. Especially during a time of illness in someone's life, many find it comforting to know the same trusted caregivers will continue helping care for them.
