Igniting the Spirit of Passion & Purpose - Level One - Personal Discovery is the first in a series of four innovative workshops exploring creativity, passion and purpose through the art of writing poetry. In this session, Walsh uses self-exploration as a tool for creating poetry, and creating poetry as a tool for self-exploration.
With the awareness that each of us has a poet inside and that this poet is the voice of our true self, John Walsh demonstrates how the art of creating poetry can teach us about ourselves, open doors of greater understanding, and deliver us to the "creative heart within the soul." Says Walsh, "Poetry opens our connection to Spirit where creativity originates. Incredible richness lies in discovering our own poetry."

The Workshop:
The emphasis of this workshop series is opening the pathway to our poetically creative nature. Through various techniques that heighten awareness, invoke the soul, and engage the senses, you'll discover your own poetic process and unique voice. The workshop's design invites a greater sense of joy, and an openly creative spirit. You will be creating your own poetry by the early part of the day.
Who Should Attend: Anyone who is interested in creativity, deepening connection with oneself, or exploring passion through the world of poetry will benefit from this workshop. Even experienced writers will find new ways to open themselves to deeper, richer dimensions that enhance their expression.
Poet, John Walsh has been writing poetry since the age of 14, and inspiring people through his poetry readings. Drawing on over three decades of meditation practice, he combines the fundamental dimension of spirituality and the consciousness of poetry in helping others develop creativity, passion and purpose in their lives.
WHEN: Every 2nd & 4th Saturday - 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
WHERE: Private home in Bend, Oregon
HOW: Each workshop is limited to no more than 10 participants. Cost - $75 when registering in advance, otherwise, $100.
